抵 Maligne Lake， 先在湖邊野餐，中午溫度仍低但陽光很強，服務中心附設有餐飲，各種設施完善，湖邊也有許多餐桌椅提供使用，也可以租獨木舟遊湖。

沿著湖邊小徑散心，不時看到松鼠出現覓食。

Maligne Lake is approximately 22.5 km (14.0 mi) long and is 97 m (318 ft) at its deepest point, in the south end of the lake. It averages 35 m (115 ft) in depth.

我們沿著湖邊步道走，不小心走入一條小徑，原以為應該會再接原來的湖邊route，但是越走越覺得很像小紅帽迷路的森林情境，踩在比地毯還柔軟舒服的苔蘚小路上，兩旁細雪未融，處處可見不知名的菇類旺盛繁殖。為了安全，走一小段路後還是原路折返。
